Fully restored for the first time ever, Rambo: First Blood Part II picks up three years after the events of First Blood. Vietnam veteran John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone – Rocky, Creed, The Expendables) is offered a prison pardon in exchange for accepting a perilous mission: infiltrating communist Vietnam under deep cover to hunt for evidence of missing American servicemen. His CIA handler Marshall Murdock (Charles Napier) insists that it is merely a reconnaissance operation. “Do not engage the enemy,” Rambo is ordered, “Just take pictures.” After a disastrous parachute drop, Rambo is left stranded in the jungle with only his combat knife and bow and arrows to protect him.

  • 4K or HD as minimum?

    By Pandapopa
Just noticed First Blood and Rambo III have had the 4K treatment! Please can Rambo II also be upgraded to 4K like the US store, or as a minimum at least updated with HD? The description mentions it is “fully restored” but is still in SD and the quality is VHS standard at best.
  • Bundle???

All three of these Rambo movies have shared extras. Any chance of a bundled release???

Update 26/11/2018: This movie is being rereleased on SD.. honestly why bother re-releasing it again an SD, it's already available on SD. No one wants this so you have to ask, who is this release for? Original: I've watched this movie years ago and when I found it here I was so exited to watch it again, it's a really good movie. But I was out off buying it because it's only available on SD and not HD, very disappointed. Now a days, every movie should be available on HD, do this studios not realise that lots of people will not buy them because of this single fact? The movie still gets 5 starts from me, but I'll not buy it until it's available on HD.
  • Newly restored... in SD!

This movie is a minor 80s classic, and it's available on disc in pristine remastered 4K. Meanwhile on my Apple TV 4K, Studo Canal offers me SD. Yes, SD. Not even HD, let alone 4K. Studio Canal really have lost the plot if they think SD is acceptable. Maybe they just love the 1980s VHS look.
  • No 4K and no iTunes extras!!

Picture quality was better on VHS. This is not HD, 4K or anything remotely close. Rip off false advertising.
