Ever since the announcement of the comeback of 24, I've been waiting ever since. Even though it's been 4 years since the show finished the show does not disappoint, it actually exceeds my expectations. The writers have done real good job reducing the episodes to 12. As in my opinion all the important hours of a 24 series have been encompassed. Which makes you crave for the next episode. It is an addictive series and I really hope there is another series.

I had heard a few people give negative reviews before starting... They must be foolish because this series is as good as any, probably better in SD than in HD to give 24 it's authentic feel but this is at least 5* Yes you can guess where the plot is going at times but that's the same with any good tv show beyond a first series.

  • Good but loses it's way

It is great to see jack Bauer back, 12 episodes for this story is the right choice and it's definitely action packed. The series gets off to an electrifying pace and you think for the first 6 episodes this is a real treat as Jack tries to track down a woman who has managed to get access to US drones (long story). However it's the last four episodes where new characters come in and the whole story is completely rushed that it loses it's way. The action keeps up a high tempo and the change of scenery to be London works but I just finished watching all 12 on sky and was left thinking that I was really not bothered if Jack comes back again or note for another series.
  • Great series but...

Really enjoyed watching this when it aired... But in the end it was rushed. 24 was great because you follow jacks path every step of the way. What they did with this mini series was turn it into a Homeland like story which it isnt. 24 L.A.D became rushed and the ending was sloppy and predictable. Also now the series is actually finished and they've left 2 of our favourite characters in a doomed ending with no chance of showing us what comes next. When it comes down to it, 24 should of just ended at season 8. Live another day is just a way to show us that sometimes TV exec's/comp can't finish what they start.
  • Greatest show of all time and is as good as day 5

Having only got into 24 in the January of this year , I binged watched all 8 seasons and I fell in love with the show. I. Couldn't wait for live another day , and boy I was not disappointed. I was hooked from the very first episode and couldn't wait for the next. Not gonna give any spoilers but old characters return and new ones form, the writers done a brilliant job in developing these characters. The villain was a different villain to what has come before but is still entertaining. I. Would recommend buying this series and hope there is a series 10 as the show is still fresh and thrived in its 12 episode format. Plus Kiefer sutherland puts in a Emmy winning performance once again.

Its great to see Jack Bauer back to his usual self… Liked the location setting too for a change much better than in America. Good acting throughout and not a bad storyline however the series didn’t seem the same as it was only 12 episodes..! Bring back 24 episodes!!
