Description

Rob Haley, a talented chef and restaurateur in London, is grief-stricken when he loses his wife. After a not-so-positive review from a food critic, and an inspirational chat from his old friend and world famous chef Gordon Ramsay, Rob decides to buy an old run-down country pub and turn it into a gourmet eatery. His decadent dessert trifle catches the eye - and taste - of Kate Templeton. Rob and Kate both soon discover that the recipe for true happiness is a pinch of teamwork and a whole lot of love.

  • Amateur and Wooden.

Apart from maybe Simon Callow as a drunken critic, the acting is so wooden it's an embarrassment to watch. In fact Gordon Ramsay is almost an Oscar winner in comparison. Their attempts at accents are unbelievably bad, just choose something else to spend 99p on.

A waste of time and money (even 99p). They obviously used up all the budget for the film on Gordon's appearance fee and had nothing left to make a half decent film. Even stranger, I don't know how this film made it into the Top 10 romance films on iTunes. Something wrong with your sorting algorithm there Apple!

A lovely feel good film, a simple story, a nice setting with a small but excellent cast.

Complete rubbish, l cannot think of one redeeming feature for this film, no, you will laugh at the some of the totally contrived and cliched scenes, but even these tire after the first 30 minutes. Seriously, avoid!

No chemistry. No humour. Terrible acting by bad actors.
  • Oh. Dear. Goodness.

Shame to waste Simon Callow, Claire Forlani *and* Dougray Scott on this. Callow gets one of these stars all to himself. At least the rental was only 99p.

Worst film I have ever seen. Not worth the 99p and an hour of your time. Don't bother with it.
